The crime scene investigations unit is responsible for responding to all major crime scenes to evaluate, process, photograph, document, collect, and preserve all forms of evidence.  The crime scene unit is tasked with safeguarding and maintaining the integrity of all evidence/property in accordance with state laws.  The Unit is currently staffed with one investigator with many years of Law Enforcement experience: Det. Ware.

The crime scene unit is also responsible for conducting electronic forensic examinations and investigations.  The crime scene unit is equipped with state of the art computer and cell phone forensics equipment and a trained forensics examiner.
