Registration

For most courses, individuals licensed by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE), employed in the criminal justice field, or simply maintaining their peace officer license are eligible to attend.

To register for a class, email Shannan Henning at SOCivil@co.orange.tx.us

Officers who are currently employed and licensed will have priority over those individuals not employed or simply maintaining their license. Class sizes are often limited.

It is recommended that any student who has registered for a class contact this office prior to attending to assure the class has not been cancelled and/or rescheduled at (409) 883-2612. Every attempt will be made to notify students if a class must be cancelled or rescheduled.

Class Attendance

Students are required to attend the entire training session so that successful completion can be reported to the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Education (TCOLE). If an emergency arises, an absences will be reviewed by the course instructor and training coordinator.

Dress Code

Students should dress in a professional manner. Duty uniforms or professional / business casual dress is requested. Collared shirts or collarless dress shirts are suggested for male attendees. For outdoor courses, dress code will be relaxed for that day.

Violations of dress code will result in dismissal from the course.

Prohibited items: halter tops, hats / caps, sandals, shorts, T-shirts, tank tops.

We look forward to serving your training needs!
